The Story of How I Came to Be a Photographer and Cinematographer

Growing up, I’d find myself daydreaming while gazing out at the ever-changing outdoor scenery. Whether it was a golden sunrise spilling over the hills or the intricate dance of leaves in the wind, I couldn’t help but think, "Wow, that would make a great photo." It was like each scene was begging to be captured, framed, and shared.

Years later, as life blessed me with kids, my perspective shifted. Every giggle, every tiny milestone, every fleeting moment became precious. I’d look at them and think, "Wow, I want to capture this forever." The joy and wonder of their early years made me realize how powerful a single photo or video could be. It wasn’t just about preserving a moment; it was about freezing a piece of time that would otherwise slip away.

Photography and videography had always been hobbies of mine, but it was in those early days of parenthood that they transformed into a true passion. I began to see every frame as a chance to encapsulate and share joy, to offer a snapshot of life’s beauty to others. It wasn’t long before I knew I wanted to help others cherish their moments just as I was learning to do.

Today, I channel that passion into my work, driven by a desire to give my clients the same gift I treasure so deeply—the ability to hold onto their most cherished moments forever.

More About Me

I’m living in the beautiful Whitewater Region with my husband and our three kids, and our chocolate lab. I'm a coffee enthusiast with penchant for discovering charming, local cafes wherever I travel. I also love running being active, and find that exercising is my way to destress and enjoy fresh air. My formal education and 9-5 is in the sciences, and so I find photography and videography offer a creative outlet that blends seamlessly with my analytical roots.
